I have my origin...

I have my original Lions scarf from the old Fitzroy days, which i got from my grandfather many many years ago as i am now 56 and he long since passed. I had decided to give it to my daughter as it was the right time to pass it on but she wouldn't take it as it is the last item I have that links me to him. So onto the AFL Shop online store and I was thrilled to be able to get her her own Fitzroy scarf which she absolutely loves. It is a joy to be able to go to the footy with her and reminisce about how great the "old" days were and how much fun it has been since the Bears became the Lions. The old Fitzroy scarf was better than i was expecting, she was absolutely thrilled and it has been fun talking to her about what a Roy Boy is and how you always stand by your team, even if they might only win 1 game in a season (that being said, note the 3-peat cap in the photo). They are your team for life. And to top the AFL Shop experience off, it arrived in 3 days.

Our beloved greyhound, Kara unfortunately passed away a month before Christmas and I had already ordered the Carlton coaches jacket gift wrapped with a message for my only son Kennan from Kara. It was the perfect way to say goodbye to Kara for Kennan with a memory that he will never forget. The childrens shoes look perfect on a handmade crafted Brendan Fevola (named Badboy) by Marjorie, Kennans great grandmother and is a family heirloom, now upgraded. We love this family owned and operated business in Tasmania and shall be purchasing more gifts for ourselves and home.
